HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister Meets with Amir of Qatar to Strengthen Bilateral Relations


Doha: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today held a meeting with His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar, during an official visit to Qatar. The meeting focused on reinforcing the longstanding relations between the two nations.



According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness emphasized the strong ties between Qatar and Bahrain, which are supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani. During the meeting, His Royal Highness conveyed greetings from HM the King along with best wishes for Qatar’s continued progress and prosperity.



HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani reciprocated the sentiments, conveying his greetings to HM the King of Bahrain and expressing hopes for Bahrain’s continued growth and prosperity. Both leaders exchanged greetings in anticipation of the upcoming holy month of Ramadan and conveyed their wishes for peace across the Arab and Islamic nations.



HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted the shared commitment to advancing the Bahrain-Qatar partnership, aiming to create opportunities that benefit both nations and fulfill common goals. The meeting also covered discussions on advancing cooperation in various sectors and addressing issues of mutual interest.



The Crown Prince and Prime Minister attended a lunch banquet hosted by HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, honoring HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad and the accompanying delegation during their visit to Qatar.
