Tokyo: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with His Imperial Highness Fumihito, Crown Prince of Japan, at the Akasaka Imperial Residence. According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting was part of Prince Salman's official visit to Japan. During the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister underscored the robust relations between Bahrain and Japan, which are based on joint strategic cooperation and coordination, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Emperor Naruhito of Japan. HRH Prince Salman highlighted upcoming announcements and memoranda of understanding to be signed during the visit, signaling the strengthening bilateral relationship and expanding engagement between the two nations. He also praised Japan's preparations for Expo 2025 Osaka, emphasizing the country's expertise in hosting major international events that foster cultural and economic exchange and support global sustainable development. The meeting also covered potential future partnerships, recent regional and international developments, and issues of mutual interest. His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, and other senior officials attended the meeting.
