Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has issued Edict (26) of 2026, which amends certain provisions of Edict (100) of 2023 concerning the reconstitution of the Academic Accreditation Committee. This decision follows a proposal by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Higher Education Council.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the amendment specifically involves a change in the membership of the Academic Accreditation Committee. Item (6) of Article (I) of Edict (100) of 2023 has been replaced, and Professor Dalal Abbas Al Haj has been appointed to the committee.
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Higher Education Council is responsible for implementing the provisions of this newly issued edict. The edict is effective immediately from the date of issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
