Gudaibiya: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met with the owners of the 12 finalists of the seventh edition of the Government Innovation Competition 'Fikra' at Gudaibiya Palace. His Royal Highness expressed pride in the high standard of entries, emphasizing the competence and capabilities of Bahrainis in advancing the Kingdom's achievements.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister reaffirmed Bahrain's commitment to fostering creativity and innovation, strengthening the Kingdom's role as a hub for ideas and advancing comprehensive development under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad congratulated the finalists, commending their entries as a reflection of Bahrain's rich talent and innovative spirit.
His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of transforming innovative ideas into projects that advance the Kingdom's progress, benefiting its citizens and ensuring the sustainability of its accomplishments. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister honored the owners of the 12 final concepts.
The 12 finalists expressed their gratitude for His Royal Highness's unwavering support, affirming that this support drives them to continue advancing their innovations in line with the Kingdom's aspirations. The winning concepts were chosen after evaluations, with 12 concepts advancing to the final stage, including presentations to a Ministerial Committee and a public vote.
The winners included Takamul by Captain Abdulla Waheed Almannaei and Alaa Ahmed Albalooshi from the Ministry of Interior, Smart Employment Advisor by Jalal Jaafar Maki from the Ministry of Legal Affairs, and Tameni by Ali Husain Darwish, Maha Majeed Almaarej, Narjes Yusuf Sabt, and Fatema Ateya Alaradi from Government Hospitals.
Other qualifying concepts were the Savings and Investment Program, Ata'a - The National Giving Platform, Floating Oases, Rahma, Secondary Education Curriculum Enhancement, Annual Leaves Exchange Platform, Wasalt, Tawazun, and MindForward.
His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Deputy Prime Minister, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, and His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, also attended the meeting.
