Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, convened with His Excellency Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, and His Excellency Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, accompanied by their deputies, members of the Foreign Affairs, Defence, and National Security Committees from both councils, and several members from the Shura and Representative Councils.
According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness underscored the relentless efforts of Team Bahrain in advancing the Kingdom's comprehensive development, guided by the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He emphasized the significant role of the Legislative Authority within the national action framework, aiming to enhance the legislative system to better serve the aspirations of the Bahraini people.
HRH Prince Salman reaffirmed the Kingdom's commitment to bolstering coordination and cooperation between the Executive and Legislative Authorities, aligning with Bahrain's overall developmental progress. He praised the solidarity and awareness exhibited by Bahraini citizens, which continue to fortify the Kingdom's resilience amid challenges, ensuring the preservation of its security and stability.
During the discussions, His Royal Highness assessed the latest regional developments and their implications on regional security. He confirmed that the Kingdom has implemented all necessary measures and preparations to enhance its readiness in managing civil emergencies and responding effectively to any potential situations.
The Speaker of the Council of Representatives and the Chairman of the Shura Council expressed their appreciation for His Royal Highness's ongoing support in fostering cooperation between the Executive and Legislative Authorities to achieve the Kingdom's development objectives. They reiterated their dedication to advancing Bahrain's progress and prosperity.
The meeting was also attended by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Deputy Prime Minister, His Excellency General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, along with several senior officials.
