Riffa: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, held a meeting with Douglas B. Petno, Co-CEO of the Commercial and Investment Bank at JPMorgan Chase, at Riffa Palace. The discussions centered around the critical role of the banking and financial sector in advancing Bahrain's economic diversification.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister emphasized the need for initiatives and programs that enhance the banking sector's contributions to the national economy. This aligns with the Kingdom's comprehensive development strategy led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The Crown Prince stressed the importance of forming strategic partnerships with international financial institutions to facilitate cooperation and knowledge exchange, crucial for the advancement of financial services and broader economic growth.
The meeting also addressed several issues of mutual interest and the latest global economic developments. Douglas B. Petno expressed his appreciation for the Crown Prince's continuous support in enhancing Bahrain's financial and banking sector and improving the investment climate.
