HRH Crown Prince and Masdar CEO Discuss Renewable Energy Initiatives

Gudaibiya: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, today held a meeting with Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi, the Chief Executive Officer of Masdar, at Gudaibiya Palace. The discussion centered on Bahrain's efforts to adopt renewable energy solutions in pursuit of its sustainable development goals, aligning with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

According to Bahrain News Agency, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister emphasized the historical relationship between Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, supported by His Majesty the King of Bahrain and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. He also acknowledged the contributions of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in enhancing bilateral cooperation.

The Crown Prince underlined the significance of reinforcing clean energy partnerships to further Bahrain's sustainable development. He reiterated the kingdom's dedication to renewable energy initiatives as part of a broader strategy to diversify its energy sources, highlighting the importance of these efforts in Bahrain's role in global climate action.

The meeting also explored potential areas for cooperation and ways to enhance existing partnerships. Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi, CEO of Masdar, expressed his gratitude for the Crown Prince's support in promoting renewable energy projects, aiming for environmental security and tackling climate change challenges.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King's Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, along with other senior officials.
