Riyadh:The Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen has announced the successful interception and destruction of a drone launched by the Houthi militia towards southern Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported the incident, highlighting the ongoing threat posed by Houthi forces in the region.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Major General Turki Al Malki, the Official Spokesperson of the Coalition, confirmed that the drone was detected and neutralized following the approved operational procedures. This action prevented the drone from reaching its intended target.
The Coalition emphasized its commitment to taking necessary measures under international humanitarian law to protect civilians and civilian infrastructure from such threats.
