Housing Ministry and Eskan Bank to Launch Sixth Mobile Housing Finance Branch

Manama: The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, in cooperation with Eskan Bank, will launch the sixth edition of the Mobile Housing Finance Branch initiative from November 5 to November 9 at Marassi Galleria Mall, operating from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The initiative is designed to familiarize citizens with available housing options and solutions, as well as to provide consultations and guidance.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the initiative is part of the ongoing launch of the "Tomooh" Programme and includes the introduction of three new digital services on the "Baity" real estate platform. The event is set to facilitate direct communication with citizens, providing them with necessary information and responding to inquiries on how to benefit from the new services. Additionally, it will offer immediate, on-site consultations and explanations regarding the terms and criteria associated with housing finance programs.

The ministry further explained that the programme provides beneficiaries of "Tas'heel" and "Tas'heel +" financing schemes, as well as previous beneficiaries of housing purchase loans, an additional government-subsidised loan of BHD 20,000 to assist them in moving to a larger property.

Eskan Bank highlighted the significance of increasing public awareness about the new digital services available through the "Baity" platform, which aims to simplify procedures for citizens seeking housing finance options. The integrated electronic system offers up-to-date information on application progress and the relevant authority at each stage, aiding in accelerating procedures and improving service quality and efficiency.
