Housing Ministry and Eskan Bank Launch Mobile Housing Finance Branch at City Centre Bahrain

Manama: The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, in cooperation with Eskan Bank, is set to organize a mobile housing finance branch at City Centre Bahrain, Gate 1. The initiative will run from September 3 to 7, 2025, between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m., aimed at introducing housing finance options and providing consultations for citizens.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Haitham Mohammed Kamal, Director of Communications at the ministry, stated that the initiative, now in its fourth edition, seeks to raise awareness of housing finance services as immediate options for citizens. These services are designed to help individuals choose housing and financing solutions tailored to their needs. Kamal noted the strong participation in previous editions, where the branch offered direct consultations and immediate responses to citizens' inquiries.

He further mentioned that the ministry is committed to promoting awareness of its services through various initiatives, including housing finance exhibitions, the Social Housing Innovation Conference and Exhibition, and awareness lectures in collaboration with other ministries, institutions, companies, and members of the Council of Representatives.

Khalid Ahmed Al Khaja, Senior Manager of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Eskan Bank, highlighted that the initiative will also emphasize financing options available through the Digital 'Baity' finance calculator. This is in addition to social housing projects provided under the Government Land Rights Development Programme.

Al Khaja elaborated that the 'Bayti' platform offers citizens access to around 13,000 properties compatible with the "Tas'heel +" and 'Tas'heel' programmes, as well as the updated Mazaya programme. These programmes cover a range of units, plots, and apartments across Bahrain. The platform also features advanced visual tools that allow citizens to view property details from developers.
