Housing Minister Discusses Housing Progress with Mongolian Deputy Prime Minister

Manama: His Excellency Dorjkhand Togmid, Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia, accompanied by Amna bint Ahmed Al Romaihi, Housing and Urban Planning Minister, visited Salman City as part of his official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. Minister Al Romaihi outlined Bahrain's housing progress, particularly in social housing. She reviewed the ministry's plans to provide suitable housing, including the housing finance programme, the Government Land Development Rights Programme in partnership with the private sector, and ongoing projects in housing cities.

According to Bahrain News Agency, these efforts align with the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Minister Al Romaihi highlighted that Bahrain's housing cities have provided thousands of housing services, including units, apartments, and residential plots, while ensuring quality of life.

The government continues to enhance these cities in line with the Sustainable Development Goals 2030. Minister Al Romaihi described Salman City as a leading housing project and a model for modern urban communities with integrated infrastructure and services. The city offers key amenities, including waterfronts, public beaches, pedestrian and cycling paths, and green spaces.

HE the Deputy Prime Minister expressed Mongolia's commitment to further develop ties and exchange expertise with the Kingdom, including in social housing.
