HM King’s visit to Saudi Arabia embodies depth of Bahraini-Saudi relations: GCC chief

Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, said that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s visit to Saudi Arabia embodies the depth of the distinguished long-standing relations between the two kingdoms and their brotherly peoples.

In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Dr. Al-Hajraf said HM the King’s visit to Saudi Arabia and meetings with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud proves the distinguished position enjoyed by Saudi Arabia in the hearts of all Bahrainis.

The GCC chief asserted that the Bahraini-Saudi relations are extraordinary and exemplary with a deep-rooted history of fraternity, mutual love and kinship, making them a role model to be emulated regarding their common destiny and similar visions to ensure a brighter future for the two kingdoms and their peoples, in line with the sound directives of their wise leaderships.

Dr. Al-Hajraf indicated that GCC citizens appreciate HM King Hamad’s visit to Saudi Arabia, and value highly the tremendous efforts exerted by GCC leaders to enhance joint GCC action and achieve their aspirations.

He wished GCC leaders continued success in bringing about more progress and prosperity to the GCC countries and their brotherly peoples.
