Manama: His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of His Majesty the King and Chairman of the Supreme Council for the Environment, received General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Major General Dr. Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Chief of Public Security, attended the meeting. His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad emphasized the crucial role of the Ministry of Interior in maintaining national security and stability, which supports the Kingdom's development. He also highlighted the ministry's diligent efforts in environmental protection, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and closely followed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The interior minister, General Shaikh Rashid, reaffirmed the ministry's dedication to implementing best practices and modern strategies to enhance performance and protect national achievements. He stressed the significance of environmental protection as a collective national duty and noted the ministry's collaboration with the Supreme Council for the Environment to fulfill its goals.
