Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of thanks from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of the Sultanate of Oman. This was in response to King Hamad's cable of condolences following the passing of the mother of Her Highness Sayyida Ahad bint Abdullah bin Hamad Al Busaidiyah, the spouse of Sultan Haitham.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the expression of gratitude highlights the strong diplomatic ties and mutual respect between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman.
