Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, received a cable of congratulations from Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff, on the occasion of the 58th anniversary of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF).
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Chief of Staff highlighted the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, in the development of the Bahrain Defence Force.
The Chief of Staff concluded by wishing further progress and prosperity for the Kingdom of Bahrain.
In response, His Majesty the King sent a cable thanking the Chief of Staff. His Majesty expressed pride in the achievements of the Bahrain Defence Force and the advanced level it has attained in training, preparedness, and operational efficiency in fulfilling its national duties.
