Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable expressing support and loyalty from Fahad Mohammed Salem Kardous Al Ameri, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Bahrain. The ambassador commended His Majesty's statements, affirming that it reflected His Majesty's vision and commitment to safeguarding the sovereignty, security, and stability of the Kingdom, in response to what he described as blatant Iranian terrorist attacks targeting Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and countries in the region.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Ambassador Al Ameri reiterated that the United Arab Emirates, led by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, stands firmly with Bahrain and supports the measures it takes to protect its security, sovereignty, and national gains against anyone seeking to undermine them.
Ambassador Al Ameri emphasized that Bahrain's security is an integral part of the security of the UAE and the Gulf states, rejecting any foreign interference in Bahrain's internal affairs. He stressed the need to respect state sovereignty, adhere to the principles of good neighbourliness, and avoid anything that could undermine regional stability and the security of its countries.
He also highlighted the unity of the Bahraini people and their alignment behind His Majesty the King, reflecting a unified national position and a strong model of cohesion between leadership and people. He noted it demonstrates awareness of current challenges and consistent popular support for efforts to protect the country and counter anything targeting its security and sovereignty.
Ambassador Al Ameri expressed his appreciation for the historical ties between Bahrain and the UAE, describing them as a solid model of Gulf solidarity and integration that contributes to strengthening regional security and stability and protecting the achievements of their peoples. He also noted broad support and solidarity from the peoples of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries with Bahrain, reflecting unity of purpose and shared destiny, as well as a cohesive Gulf stance in facing common challenges.
