Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a message from Mark Rutte, Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO).
According to Bahrain News Agency, the NATO Secretary General expressed solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain and conveyed his deepest regret in light of the ongoing and unacceptable Iranian attacks targeting the Kingdom's sovereign territory.
Secretary General Rutte strongly condemned the indiscriminate Iranian strikes affecting civilian populations, infrastructure, and freedom of navigation. He commended the partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and NATO, which is based on a shared belief in the importance of stability in the Arabian Gulf region and beyond.
