Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Al Sakhir Palace Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives; Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council; and Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council and President of the Court of Cassation. The meeting was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the leaders extended their congratulations on the 25th anniversary of the National Action Charter. They acknowledged the Kingdom of Bahrain's progress and developmental achievements, as well as its international standing under His Majesty's leadership.
His Majesty the King praised the legislative authority's role in developing laws that support national progress and meet citizens' needs. He also highlighted the judiciary's role in upholding justice, equality, and rights. His Majesty noted the strong cooperation between the executive and legislative authorities and emphasized enhancing this collaboration to benefit the country and its citizens.
His Majesty the King reiterated that the National Action Charter serves as a guiding framework for the Kingdom's sustained progress. He highlighted the contributions of the Bahraini people to national advancement, noting their commitment to unity and cultural openness, which have positioned Bahrain as a model of coexistence and social pluralism.
