Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa ratified and issued Law (5) of 2026, which amends Clause (13) of Article (3) of Law (5) of 2021 concerning the regulation and monitoring of international trade in endangered species of wild fauna and flora, after receiving approval from the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the law mandates that the Prime Minister and the Ministers, each within their respective capacities, are responsible for implementing the provisions of this law. The law is set to come into effect the day following its publication in the Official Gazette.
