Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has ratified and issued Law (26) of 2025, which approves the framework agreement, agency, and guarantee agreements between the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB). This law facilitates the financing of the 400kV Al Jasra Power Station project, following endorsements by the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the agreements were signed on September 9, 2024, and are now appended to the newly issued law. The Prime Minister and relevant ministers are tasked with implementing the law's provisions, which will be effective the day after its publication in the Official Gazette.
