Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa ratified and issued Law (24) of 2026, which establishes a new regulatory framework for the legal profession in the Kingdom of Bahrain. This law replaces the existing legislation governing legal practice and follows its approval by the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Prime Minister and the ministers, each within their capacity, are tasked with implementing the provisions of this law. The law is set to come into force on the day following its publication in the Official Gazette.
