Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has ratified and issued Law (10) of 2025, which approves the agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Government of the United Arab Emirates on the promotion and protection of investments. This development follows the endorsement by both the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the agreement, which is integral to this law, was initially signed in Dubai on February 11, 2024. The purpose of this agreement is to enhance and secure investment opportunities between the two nations, thereby fostering economic growth and cooperation.
In line with the provisions of this new law, the Prime Minister and relevant ministers are tasked with its implementation. The law is scheduled to come into effect the day following its publication in the Official Gazette, ensuring a swift transition to its operational phase.
