HM King Praises ‘Hawa Al Manama’ Event for Promoting Bahrain’s Heritage

Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa commended the success of the second edition of the 'Hawa Al Manama' event, held as part of the Kingdom of Bahrain's National Day celebrations. The event featured a range of cultural, tourism, and historical exhibitions, museums, activities, and programmes that focused on a significant period in the history of Manama, highlighting the capital's cultural and social diversity. It attracted strong turnout from citizens and residents, as well as visitors from other countries.

According to Bahrain News Agency, His Majesty expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Ministry of Tourism, the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, and all relevant entities for the organisation of the event, which combined heritage, traditional arts, music, and entertainment. His Majesty noted that such initiatives support the tourism sector and contribute to preserving Bahrain's cultural heritage.

His Majesty expressed hope for the organisation of further national events across all governorates and areas of the Kingdom, aimed at reviving Bahraini traditions and values, highlighting popular heritage, strengthening national identity, and introducing Bahrain's cultural and historical assets.

His Majesty highlighted the importance of documenting Bahrain's cultural and civilisational heritage, raising awareness of it among citizens, residents, and visitors, and preserving it so that future generations remain connected to their history. His Majesty reiterated support for initiatives that highlight Bahrain's history and the values of its people, wishing the Kingdom continued progress and prosperity.
