Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa valued the supportive stance and solidarity expressed by the Arab Republic of Egypt toward the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states in light of the heinous Iranian attacks. According to Bahrain News Agency, His Majesty the King expressed appreciation for Egypt's position and the readiness it has shown to provide various forms of support, reflecting the strength of the longstanding historical relations and close ties between Egypt and the GCC states, as well as the spirit of steadfast Arab solidarity. His Majesty noted that this noble stance by the Arab Republic of Egypt comes amid the critical circumstances facing the region and emanates from its belief that the security of the Gulf is an integral part of its national security. His Majesty noted that the shared destiny among Arab states calls for strengthening Arab cooperation and unifying positions to address current challenges, underscoring the importance of consolidating collective Arab national security to ensure the protection of Arab states from any threats or attacks. HM the King further emphasised the importance of continuing close coordination with Egypt, the GCC states, and other Arab countries. His Majesty expressed hope that such sincere positions would help reinforce the foundations of regional security and stability, in line with the Kingdom's longstanding approach to supporting peace and promoting security and stability both regionally and globally, to achieve prosperity and development for their peoples.
