Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today performed Eid Al Fitr prayers at Al Sakhir Palace Mosque. Accompanying him were his sons, senior members of the royal family, the Chairman of the Shura Council, the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, ministers, and senior officers from the Bahrain Defence Force, the Ministry of Interior, and the National Guard.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Eid sermon was delivered by Dr. Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed Al Hajiri, Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council. Dr. Shaikh Al Hajiri commenced by praising Allah Almighty and sending blessings upon the Prophet Mohammed, his family, and companions. He emphasized the spiritual significance of Eid Al Fitr, its rituals, and its esteemed status in Islam. He prayed for the protection of His Majesty the King, blessing his efforts, and for his health, happiness, and long life. He also prayed for the prosperity and joy of the people of Bahrain, and for the Kingdom to remain secure, stable, and blessed under His Majesty's leadership.
Following the prayers, His Majesty King Hamad exchanged Eid Al Fitr greetings with attendees and expressed appreciation for their well wishes. He extended congratulations to the people of the Kingdom of Bahrain, praying that Allah Almighty accept everyone's good deeds and return the occasion with many blessings and prosperity upon the Kingdom, its people, and the Arab and Islamic nations.
Attendees offered their sincere congratulations to His Majesty the King on this blessed occasion, praying that Allah Almighty grant His Majesty abundant health, well-being, long life, and continued success in leading the Kingdom to further development and progress.
