Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued a directive for the annual Hijri year. The Royal Court will begin distributing the annual donation through the Sunni and Jaafari Endowments Directorates to charitable societies and Maatams (community centres), as is customary at the beginning of every new Hijri year.
According to Bahrain News Agency, this initiative aims to support community welfare activities and enhance the social support provided to various charitable organizations during the Hijri New Year. The distribution ensures that the resources reach the intended beneficiaries, thereby promoting communal harmony and support among different segments of society.
