Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has sent a reply message to His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco, acknowledging the latter's support following Iranian attacks that threatened Bahrain's sovereignty, security, and stability.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahraini King expressed his pride in the robust and amicable relations shared between Bahrain and Morocco, highlighting the constructive cooperation between the two nations. He extended his appreciation for King Mohammed VI's solidarity, specifically commending Morocco's strong condemnation of the Iranian aggression, which targeted both civilian and military facilities and residential areas, actions that contravened the United Nations Charter, international law, and the principles of good neighborliness.
His Majesty also recognized the Moroccan King's affirmation that the security of Bahrain and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states is integral to Morocco's own security. He expressed gratitude for Morocco's support of Bahrain in all its measures to address the current threats challenging national principles and social cohesion.
King Hamad underscored the readiness and capability of the Bahrain Defence Force, the air defense system, and relevant security authorities, highlighting that these efforts, combined with the unity and resilience of Bahraini society, have successfully countered the Iranian aggression. He assured that national forces remain well-prepared to defend the Kingdom and maintain its security and stability, expressing confidence in overcoming the challenges at hand.
In concluding his message, the King wished continued security, stability, and prosperity for the Kingdom of Morocco and its people.
