HM King Issues Royal Order Appointing Deputy Secretary-General of Supreme Defence Council.

Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Royal Order (43) of 2024, appointing the Deputy Secretary-General of the Supreme Defence Council. According to Bahrain News Agency, Colonel Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Jaber Al Khalifa, who currently serves as the Deputy National Security Advisor, will assume the role of Deputy Secretary-General of the Supreme Defence Council in addition to his current responsibilities. This appointment follows the replacement of Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. The royal order, as stated in Article II, is effective immediately from the date of issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
