Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has issued Decree No. (13) of 2025, which amends Article One of Decree (17) of 2021 concerning the restructuring of the Ministry of Finance and National Economy. This decision follows a proposal by the Minister of Finance and National Economy and has been approved by the Cabinet.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the decree introduces a new clause, labeled (5), to Paragraph (D) of (Fifth) in Article One of Decree (17) of 2021. It specifies that several human resources and financial directors will be appointed and transferred to manage shared financial services across government entities.
The Minister of Finance and National Economy is tasked with implementing the decree, which is effective immediately upon issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
