HM King Issues Decree Restructuring Diplomatic Academy Board

Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has issued Decree (62) of 2025 concerning the restructuring of the Board of Trustees for the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies. This decision was made based on a proposal by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and received approval from the Cabinet.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the decree appoints the Minister of Foreign Affairs as the chair of the Board. The Board's membership includes the President of the Civil Service Bureau, the Director-General of the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs. Additional members are the Chief Executive Officer of the Labour Fund "Tamkeen", the Chief Executive for Strategic Affairs at the Economic Development Board, and the Assistant Undersecretary for Financial Policies and Budget at the Ministry of Finance and National Economy.

The decree stipulates that the Board members will serve a term of four years, with the possibility of renewal. The Minister of Foreign Affairs is tasked with implementing the provisions of this decree, which will become effective the day after its publication in the Official Gazette.
