Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Decree (42) of 2025 appointing Directors-General of the Sunni and Jaafari Endowments, following a proposal by the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments and the approval of the Cabinet. The decree stipulates the following:
According to Bahrain News Agency, Article I of the decree appoints Ahmed Khalil Ibrahim Khairi as the Director-General of the Sunni Endowments, with the rank of Assistant Undersecretary. Meanwhile, Article II appoints Abduljalil Ali Ahmed Al Hayki as the Director-General of the Jaafari Endowments, also with the rank of Assistant Undersecretary.
Article III specifies that the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments is responsible for implementing the provisions of the decree. The decree is effective immediately upon issuance and is to be published in the Official Gazette.
