Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received the credentials of five newly appointed ambassadors to Bahrain during a ceremony held at Al Sakhir Palace today. The event marked a significant moment in Bahrain's ongoing diplomatic engagements, as His Majesty welcomed envoys from Serbia, Trkiye, Thailand, Bangladesh, and Saudi Arabia.
According to Bahrain News Agency, His Majesty accepted the credentials of Tatjana Garcevic from the Republic of Serbia, Dr. Ayse Hilal Sayan Koytak from the Republic of Trkiye, Sumate Chulajata from the Kingdom of Thailand, Mohammad Rais Hasan Sarower from the People's Republic of Bangladesh, and Naif bin Bandar Al Sudairi from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During the ceremony, HM King Hamad emphasized the strong bilateral relations between Bahrain and the respective countries, highlighting the continuous progress and cooperation across various sectors.
The King expressed his best wishes for the ambassadors, urging them to succeed in their diplomatic duties to further strengthen ties with Bahrain. He reiterated Bahrain's commitment to fostering positive relations and enhancing international cooperation for mutual benefit.
The ambassadors, in turn, conveyed greetings and best wishes from their heads of state to HM the King. They praised the strong ties between their countries and Bahrain and expressed hopes for Bahrain's continued progress and prosperity.
The ceremony was attended by key figures including His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of HM the King; His Highness Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council, and Commander of the Royal Guard; Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of the Royal Court; and Major General Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Fadhala, Chief of Royal Protocol. The newly appointed ambassadors were received with customary formalities by the Chief of Royal Protocol.
