Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade of the United Arab Emirates, at Al Safriya Palace. The meeting occurred during Dr. Al Zeyoudi's visit to participate in the Bahrain-UAE Business Forum.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Zeyoudi conveyed greetings and best wishes from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai. They extended wishes for Bahrain's continued progress and prosperity.
His Majesty the King welcomed the UAE Foreign Trade Minister, reciprocating the greetings and best wishes to the UAE leadership and its people. He emphasized the strong historical ties between Bahrain and the UAE, highlighting efforts to enhance and expand cooperation. The King noted the successful outcomes of the Bahrain-UAE Business Forum, which aim to advance partnership and cooperation in economic, trade, and investment areas, thus increasing trade exchange to serve the interests of both nations.
Dr. Al Zeyoudi expressed gratitude to His Majesty the King for his role in enhancing bilateral ties and fostering cooperation, particularly in trade, economic, and investment sectors.
