HM King Hamad Meets Saudi Education Minister at Al Sakhir Palace

Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today welcomed His Excellency Yousef bin Abdullah Al Benyan, the Minister of Education of Saudi Arabia, at Al Sakhir Palace. The meeting marked a significant step in reinforcing the educational collaboration between the two Gulf nations.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Saudi Minister's visit to Bahrain is primarily to finalize the contract for completing the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Medical City, a pivotal project managed by the Arabian Gulf University. During the meeting, the Minister conveyed greetings and well-wishes from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, highlighting a desire for Bahrain's continued development.

His Majesty King Hamad reciprocated with his greetings to the Saudi leadership, wishing them good health and ongoing prosperity for their nation. The King emphasized the enduring relationship between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, praising the mutual cooperation and support in numerous sectors, particularly education.

The King lauded Saudi Arabia's consistent support under King Salman's leadership, underscoring the historical and close ties between the two countries. He highlighted the establishment of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Medical City as a testament to the strong Bahraini-Saudi collaboration.

Minister Al Benyan expressed gratitude to King Hamad for his guidance and Bahrain's support in establishing the medical city. He acknowledged the King's dedication to enhancing the bilateral ties, especially in the educational domain, between the two kingdoms.
