HM King Engages in Call with Egyptian President on Regional Developments

Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, who currently presides over the Arab Summit, engaged in a telephone conversation with His Excellency Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The discussion centered on regional developments, with a significant focus on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the leaders stressed the importance of maintaining a full commitment to the ceasefire agreement between the Palestinian and Israeli sides. This commitment is seen as crucial to fostering stability in the region.

Both leaders also reiterated the necessity for adherence to the decisions made at the Arab Summit, also known as the Palestine Summit. They emphasized their support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, advocating for the establishment of an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
