HM King Emphasizes Peace and Unity in Address During Final Days of Ramadhan


Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa delivered a significant address during the final ten days of the holy month of Ramadhan, highlighting themes of peace, unity, and resilience. The address underscored the importance of upholding the noble values of faith, compassion, and solidarity, particularly in challenging times.



According to Bahrain News Agency, the King expressed his sincere wishes for the successful completion of fasting and prayers, hoping for a return of Ramadhan with security and prosperity to Bahrain and the broader Arab and Islamic nations. His address emphasized the importance of maintaining national cohesion and the harmonious coexistence of people of different beliefs within Bahrain.



In his speech, King Hamad addressed recent attacks on Bahrain and its allies, condemning the actions attributed to Iran. He praised the vigilance and national responsibility of Bahrain’s armed forces and relevant authorities, acknowledging their efforts in maintaining the nation’s security. The King also expressed gratitude for the unwavering national spirit demonstrated by Bahraini citizens in overcoming challenges.



The address highlighted the international support Bahrain has received, especially from Gulf allies, reinforcing the Kingdom’s stability and international esteem. The King reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to peace and moderation, announcing its participation in the Board of Peace for the reconstruction of Gaza, reflecting the country’s dedication to regional and international responsibilities.



As Bahrain marks the Year of Isa Al Kabeer, King Hamad called on constitutional institutions to focus on safeguarding national principles and advancing development efforts. He concluded by extending congratulations for the upcoming Eid Al Fitr, praying for continued dignity, pride, and security for Bahrain and its people.
