Sakhir: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, held a significant meeting at Sakhir Palace with key figures from Bahrain's defense and security sectors. The attendees included Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF); His Highness General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Commander of the National Guard; General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior; Lieutenant General Adel bin Khalifa Al Fadhel, Deputy Minister of Interior; Major General Bassam Mohammed Khamis Al Maraj, President of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA); and Shaikh Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Strategic Security Bureau, alongside senior officers from the BDF, National Guard, and Ministry of Interior.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting was also attended by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister. During the gathering, the officials extended their greetings to His Majesty the King on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadhan, expressing wishes for continued prosperity for the Kingdom of Bahrain under his leadership.
In response, His Majesty expressed gratitude for their kind sentiments, reciprocating with his best wishes for the holy month of Ramadhan. He took the opportunity to commend the dedication and efforts of personnel from the BDF, National Guard, Ministry of Interior, NIA, and Strategic Security Bureau. His Majesty praised their unwavering commitment to national unity, law enforcement, and the protection of Bahrain's achievements and development.
Furthermore, His Majesty highlighted the strong coordination between the BDF and security agencies, expressing confidence in Bahrain's continued security and resilience. He emphasized that the spirit of unity binds the nation's people as one cohesive family.
Additionally, His Majesty conveyed his greetings to brave servicemen stationed in various posts both inside and outside the Kingdom and paid tribute to the fallen servicemen of Bahrain.
