HM King Discusses National Resilience Documentation with Committee Chairman

Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, and Chairman of the National Resilience Documentation Committee.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Shaikh Abdulla briefed His Majesty on the committee's progress in documenting Iranian attacks against Bahrain and the Kingdom's response. This documentation highlights the unity and steadfastness demonstrated during the crisis. His Majesty emphasized that resilience is a national culture bolstered by Bahrain's comprehensive development. He noted that the resilience shown was not just a response to a temporary challenge but a testament to Bahrain's capability to address challenges effectively.

His Majesty commended the research role of the Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (Derasat), in collaboration with national institutions, for documenting these events as part of the Kingdom's national memory. He stressed that documenting national resilience is crucial to preserving a unified narrative of this significant period in Bahrain's history, ensuring future generations learn the values of loyalty and unity.

His Majesty added that recording these national positions acknowledges those who served the Kingdom and reflects Bahrain's strength in facing challenges. He highlighted that the national collective memory is essential for safeguarding the Kingdom's achievements and preserving its authentic identity.

At the meeting's conclusion, Dr. Shaikh Abdulla expressed gratitude to His Majesty for the trust placed in him to lead the committee. He affirmed the committee's dedication to creating a historical and legal reference documenting the Kingdom's resilience and institutional strength. Dr. Shaikh Abdulla also praised the loyalty and solidarity of Bahraini citizens under His Majesty's leadership.
