Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen) and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Educational Charitable Trust, on the Kingdom of Bahrain's successful hosting of the 2025 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, and on McLaren's victory in the race.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman emphasised that the successful hosting of the 2025 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix adds to Bahrain's record of national accomplishments. He attributed this achievement to HM the King's unwavering commitment to strengthening the Kingdom's position across various sectors, both regionally and internationally.
HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman highlighted McLaren's first-place finish at the Bahrain Grand Prix, marking the team's inaugural victory at Bahrain International Circuit since the Kingdom began hosting Formula 1 races in 2004.
