Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today received a cable of congratulations from His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid bin Isa Al Khalifa. Shaikh Faisal, who serves as Vice President of the Supreme Council for Environment, Deputy Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club (REHC) High Committee, and Member of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, extended his felicitations on the successful launch of the Kingdom of Bahrain's Al Munther satellite into orbit.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the satellite was launched from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, United States of America. The achievement marks a significant milestone for Bahrain's advancements in space technology and underscores the collaborative efforts involved in the project.
