Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, on Bahrain Diplomatic Day.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Zayani, on behalf of himself and all members of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, congratulated HM the king and expressed gratitude for HM's decision to designate January 14 each year to celebrate Bahrain's diplomatic achievements over more than half a century.
Dr. Al Zayani expressed his appreciation to HM the King for the unwavering support to Bahraini diplomacy, which enables the Kingdom to actively contribute to global cooperation and friendship, safeguard national interests and citizens abroad, and enhance Bahrain's regional and international standing.
The minister underscored the commitment to advancing Bahrain's diplomacy under the leadership of HM the King, and supported by the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
