HM King Attends Friday Prayers at Al Safriya Palace Mosque

Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa performed Friday prayers at Al Safriya Palace Mosque, joined by the sons of HM the King, members of the royal family, and officials. This coincided with the anniversary of the birth of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).

According to Bahrain News Agency, the sermon was delivered by Shaikh Dr. Rashid bin Mohammed bin Futais Al Hajri, Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council. He spoke of the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) on the occasion of his birth and wished the Kingdom of Bahrain continued security, prosperity, and stability under the leadership of His Majesty the King.

Marking the occasion, HM the King congratulated everyone and recalled the Prophet's message of mercy, fraternity, and solidarity. His Majesty emphasised rejecting division, upholding good morals, and promoting tolerance and peace.

HM the King expressed appreciation for Bahrain's blessings, especially security and stability, describing them as the foundation of progress. His Majesty also commended the Bahraini people for their unity, which is a result of their awareness and sense of belonging, which have preserved national unity and achievements.
