HM King arrives in Riyadh, affirms Bahrain’s unflinching solidarity with KSA

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa arrived in Riyadh today on an official visit during which he will meet Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to discuss with him strong historical fraternal relations and the latest regional and international developments.

HM was welcomed on arrival by Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

HM the King was also welcomed by Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region HRH Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain HRH Prince Sultan bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz, Bahraini Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Shaikh Ali bin Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Khalifa and Saudi Minister of Commerce and Acting Minister of Media Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi, the accompanying minister.

In a statement delivered on arrival, HM the King expressed happiness about meeting King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to discuss the latest regional developments and challenges. He expressed congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince on Saudi Arabia’s Foundation Day, praising the kingdom’s pioneering civilizational and development achievements at all levels.

HM the King reiterated appreciation and gratitude for the blessed efforts of King Salman in serving the Gulf, Arab and Islamic issues and the strategic role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the regional and international level.

HM affirmed Bahrain’s solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia out of belief in the common goal and destiny. He asserted that Saudi Arabia’s security is an integral part of Bahrain’s, stressing the importance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for regional security. He wished the kingdom constant security, growth and prosperity under its wise leadership.
