HM King Appoints New Undersecretaries at Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has issued Decree (21) of 2025, appointing two new undersecretaries at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This decision follows a proposal by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and subsequent approval by the Cabinet.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Ambassador Khaled Yousef Al Jalahma has been appointed as the Undersecretary for Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He will be replacing Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa in this role.

Additionally, Ambassador Talal Abdulsalam Al Ansari, who previously served as the Director General of Ministry Affairs, has been appointed as the Undersecretary for Consular and Administrative Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, succeeding Dr. Isa Nasser Al Noaimi.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs is tasked with implementing this decree, which is effective immediately and will be published in the Official Gazette.
