HM King Appoints New Members to Human Rights Council

Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Royal Order (26) of 2025, appointing new members to the Council of Commissioners of the National Institution for Human Rights. This order outlines the appointment of full-time and part-time members who will serve a term of four years.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the full-time members appointed are Ali Ahmed Alderazi, Dr. Malallah Jaffar Al Hammadi, Mohammed Jumaa Fazea, and Maha Saleh Al Shehab. In addition, several part-time members have been appointed: Dr. Hamad Ibrahim Al Abdullah, Daniel Mark Cohen, Rawdha Salman Al Aradi, Shaikha Hamdi Al Sheiba, Dr. Shaima Abdullah Jumaa Mohammed, Abdullah Khalifa Al Thawadi, and Muna George Koro.

These appointments are aimed at strengthening the National Institution for Human Rights, providing diverse expertise and perspectives to the council. The appointed members are expected to contribute to the institution's mission over the next four years.
