Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has issued Decree (25) of 2025, appointing a new General Director at the Ministry of Interior. This decision was made based on a proposal by the Minister of Interior and following the approval of the Cabinet.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the decree appoints Colonel Ahmed Saad Ibrahim Al Rumaihi, who is currently the Director of the Cybercrime Directorate at the Ministry of Interior, as the General Director of the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption, Economic and Electronic Security. He will be succeeding Major General Bassam Mohammed Khamis Al Maraj in this role.
The Minister of Interior is tasked with implementing this decree, which is effective immediately and will be published in the Official Gazette.
