Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has issued Decree (44) of 2025, appointing a new Director General at the General Secretariat of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS). This decision was made following a proposal by the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and the subsequent approval of the Cabinet.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the decree appoints Noora Ahmed Al Balushi, who currently serves as the Director of the Planning, Policies and Follow-up Directorate at the General Secretariat of the SCYS, as the new Director General of Planning and Resources. She will take over from Nani Mohammed Yousif Butti and will hold the rank of Assistant Undersecretary.
The Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports is tasked with implementing the decree, which is effective immediately and will be published in the Official Gazette.
