HM King Appoints New Deputy Chief Executive at LMRA

Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has issued Decree (38) of 2026 appointing a Deputy Chief Executive for the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA). This decision follows a proposal by the Minister of Labour and has received the necessary approval from the Cabinet.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the decree appoints Fatima Al Sayed Redha Ibrahim, currently the Director of Projects at the Prime Minister's Office, as the Deputy Chief Executive for Policies and Market Data at the LMRA. This appointment is detailed in Article (I) of the decree.

Article (II) of the decree mandates that the Minister of Labour is responsible for implementing its provisions. The decree is effective immediately from the date of issuance and is set to be published in the Official Gazette.
