Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has issued Decree (3) of 2025, appointing a new Assistant Undersecretary at the Ministry of Social Development. This decision follows a proposal from the Minister of Social Development and has received approval from the Cabinet.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the decree appoints Mahmood Abdulwahed Matrook, who currently serves as the Director of the Competitiveness Enhancement Directorate at the Ministry of Finance and National Economy, as the new Assistant Undersecretary for Welfare and Social Rehabilitation. He will replace Zainab Salman Al Owainati in this role.
The decree mandates that the Minister of Social Development is responsible for implementing the changes. It has been announced that the decree takes effect immediately from the date of issuance and is to be published in the Official Gazette.
