Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), on the occasion of Bahraini Women's Day 2025. This year, the celebration is held under the theme "Bahraini Women: Distinction, Creativity, Innovation."
According to Bahrain News Agency, HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim highlighted that the national celebration reflects His Majesty the King's vision and belief in the role of women as key partners in nation-building and advancing the Kingdom's comprehensive development goals. She noted that the international and regional recognition attained by Bahraini women is a direct outcome of His Majesty's support, which has empowered them to excel and innovate.
HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim emphasized that the Supreme Council for Women, guided by His Majesty's vision and patronage, remains committed to initiatives aimed at empowering women, enhancing their status, showcasing their accomplishments, and ensuring active engagement across all national development sectors. This contributes to the sustainable progress and prosperity of the Kingdom.
In response, His Majesty the King sent a cable of thanks to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim, extending his congratulations on Bahraini Women's Day, observed annually on December 1. His Majesty expressed appreciation for HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim's efforts, along with those of the Supreme Council for Women, in elevating the status of Bahraini women and empowering them to contribute across all fields of the Kingdom's development.
His Majesty the King also commended the Council's achievements and the commitment of Bahraini women in political, economic, social, and cultural domains. He expressed confidence that Bahrain's comprehensive development process will continue to create opportunities to strengthen the role and status of Bahraini women in society.
